Okay so here goes.
Decided that this new year I will once again attempt to keep some form of diary- only this time I'm venturing into the 21st century and swapping my paper for a keyboard. Et voila, hello new blog. Who knows how long it will last- can just see my posts getting smaller and smaller until in two weeks time when I have completely forgot my password...
But no, I am determined. I have high hopes for this year (she says every year) and so perhaps it would be nice to have some daily record of such happenings. 2012 looks set to be a stonker (not a word) of a year- leaving school, starting uni, moving out... But it will be good :) The future is bright and all that.
Just returned from the pub with some friends, last gathering of 2011.Was a lovely evening. However, now it is time for the tv and Jules Holland (once again). Looking forward to singing auld lang syne though- TUNE!
Right, so ahead lies 2012. A whole new year. Apart from my blog-alution (LOL), not sure if I have any other revolutions as such. It doesn't matter what day it is, 1st of Jan or middle of May- it's never too late to change. But if I did believe in them, this is what I would say:
1) raise £2000 to get to Ethiopia! (seriously dude.)
2) enjoy these last few months of school- they're gonna be crazy but amazing.
3) enjoy but at the same time work damn hard. And stop wasting time on Book-face tous les temps. Amazing how much time is wasted staring at a screen (this totally doesnt count by the way as its productive..exploring my thoughts and feelings or something...)
4) SMILE. As someone wise said to me- never hide from the world - be proud of your achievements to date and embrace what's round the corner.
So this is me embracing what is round the corner. You should too, whoever you are.
